south of philadelphia. we've got a little cluster north of the city and in fact we'll go in a little tighter here and we have showers and storms also south of the city as well. so, some activity moving across areas in newcastle and kent county and there in delaware and we have showers and thunderstorms activities firing up across areas in say em, gloucester and camden county and now north and east we have wet weather moving out and montgomery and southern bucks and mercer county there in trenton. and so the showers and storms moving to the east and to the northeast during the overnight hours and clearing on the way as we get into our sunday. we definitely had a lot of heat earlier today. that fueled those showers and storms. high today in the city climbed up to 93 degrees. that's 12 above where we normally should be this time of year. and right now we're actually tapping into a northerly winds so that northerly wind helps to dry out the atmosphere. you'll notice the difference when you step outdoors tomorrow.

fast-moving fire in west philadelphia. it happened on the 4100 block of ogdon street overnight firefighters found flames shooting from the second floor five people were able to escape on his own and six would be able to escape. no one was injured. no word how the fire started. >> a police officer in camden county is recovering. his cruiser collided with another car and knocked off a traffic light on the way near intersection of delaware avenue and cooper street in camdench the officer and the other driver were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. >> police in philadelphia are also hoping that the release of this video will lead to an arrest. a man was captured stealing from breeze animal hospital in holmesburg july 18. he walked into an area where employees kept personal items and he took a bank card from a purse. after he left the office on the 7400 block of frank ford avenue he was spotted using that card at the walgreens down the
